Dear lady, if a man does not love you, do NOT consider marrying him. You will suffer. No matter how many tongues he speaks, oh. Because those are the ones to even run away, from. Those ones who treat you like crap - as they speak in tongues. They will kill you, tell your parents that they dont know what happened to you; and they will still be speaking in tongues. I dont understand why people who say they are children of God, behave so foolishly. When some so-called unbelievers have more sense. When David Beckham saw his wife for the first time, he said Im going to marry that one. That was when the Spice Girls were everywhere. He saw her in a music video. For some, she wasnt the prettiest, so he alone knew what drew him to her. He took the time to woo her. They have been married for over a decade now, and have four children. She had no idea when she first met him, that he was determined to marry her. In her mind, he was just a footballer. She didnt even know anything about football, at the time. I have not been to seminary, theological college, or Bible School. I have absolutely no desire to attend. But there is a way that the God I know, does NOT behave. He CANNOT force people into marriage. You cannot have convincing proofs that someone must marry you - that is witchcraft. People (including pastors) have used this whee/tyre of god thing to ruin many lives - especially lives of gullible, young women! I personally know at least one person who calls himself a pastor, married through god said, and is a BEAST to his wife. In my presence, he has abused her badly. (I have always said that if I were unfortunate enough to marry such a man, one of us would be dead. Yes, it is that bad/serious). Let me give just one example - on a particular day, she prepared food really late. She was afraid to call her own husband to tell him that food was ready. He told her (in English, so I definitely did not mis-hear) that for serving him food late, he will curse her and she will be walking on the road, and a car will crush her to death! This was in London, not one tiny village in Africa. And it happened in this decade. Because of food??? The same person you claimed god said you should marry? Thats how one pastor in Abuja (I believe) woke up one day, and said that god said he should divorce his wife of over 10 years. For no reason. She didnt cheat, disrespect him, nothing. What kind of god is that? Apparently, their god must have changed his mind again, because god spoke again and said not to divorce.These are just few examples. I cannot mention more that Ive been told, because it will break confidentiality. But it is enough for me to know it is a no-go area. Many men who claim to have heard from god regarding a particular woman & marriage, are most likely DELUSIONAL. Or suffering from psychosis, and they think they are hearing God because they are hearing voices. When people build up something in their mind, it is easy for them to see and hear what they want. Theres a guy I knew, who had been eyeing my sister for like five years. The only person who didnt know, was her. Some years ago, he opened his mouth to say God said. She told him that she had not heard such from God. I kid you not - in about three months, the guy was married to someone else. No, he was not dating someone else before he came to tell my sister, rubbish. So WHICH GOD spoke? He had been scoping her for at least five years; why wont he hear what he wants to hear? And to be very honest, theres no way I would have sat back and let my sister marry such a man. I had no influence over her reply to him. But I later told her that if she had agreed, not even hell, hot water, and wild horses would have convinced me to attend that wedding. He would have stifled her, and her creativity to death. Yes, hes born-again. But that is all they have in common. Theirs would have been an unequal yoke in many ramifications. Examples are - my sister wears make-up, trousers, and hair extensions. He is very committed to making sure a woman remains as natural as possible. My sister is a very expressive, creative person. He is a very dour person who believes that the work of the Holy Ghost in your life is to make you very quiet - anything else means you are not spiritual enough. He would have broken my sisters heart, killed her dreams, and quenched her spirit. He must have known this - hence the need to resort to attempted witchcraft, and spiritual bullying. Because that is what it is. Look carefully at the men who claim god said, concerning a particular woman. They know the woman wouldnt ordinarily consider them. Most times, the men are poor, ill-mannered, bullies, or have one or more serious character flaws. Flaws that would make any woman in her right mind, reject them. There are men (genuinely Christian men) who dont have to resort to this despicable shamelessness, to get a woman to notice, or agree to marry them! They are so incredible, that in less than three months, the woman is already praying that the guy will propose. Guys, there is a way to make your life easier. There are ways to make a woman so nuuuuts about you, that people will think she is under a spell. Attempting to bully her, is NOT one of those ways. On the other hand, there are some guys that, a woman doesnt even have to pray, before she knows that there is NO way she can marry such a man. Ladies, as I heard a pastor say, when a guy comes to you with that sort of command/proposal; kindly reply with one of the following: 1.) God has not told me to marry you. 2.) God told me to imagine waking up to your face for the rest of my life. I cant.
