Dear lovely you, It was Thanksgiving Day yesterday. Yes, I know, were a bit slow. Thats because we only spotted all the messages we got from friends and colleagues in the U.S. and Canada this am. So wed like to pause for a moment and do a bit of thanks-giving. First to you - thanks for coming on the F**k It ride with us, thanks for opening these messages, reading and sharing the F**k It books, travelling to Italy to say F**k It with us... thanks for trusting us to help you find freedom, the F**k It way. And thanks in general - I (John) do regular thanks-giving practice so that it dissolves into my very being - and (at my best) I live in a good degree of persistent appreciation. In no particular order, I now give thanks for - Gaia, sitting with me here, and the boys, currently at school, the astonishing view out of my window here at The Hill, currently bare trees rising out of the swirling mist (soon to be burnt off by the sun), my eyes that see these words appearing, my fingers for tapping, this beautiful bit of equipment that, in a moment, sends this message instantly to all of you, the food I will eat for lunch (pasta with ricotta since you ask), our many friends, and those who help us, work for us, charge us for their brilliant services, those who supply us with electricity, gas, water and internet connection, and Roberto for cutting down trees that we then put on the fire that is currently blazing downstairs and heating the water that will wash my hands before lunch, oh, did I mention lunch again... and for the music thats playing now, hey, let me share this with you, to end my list of thanks, as a gift to you to say THANKS again for being in our lives... Yes, this is the track Im listening to now - its AMAZING - Ive just discovered it, and I think youll love it (I know a lot of you like the music we play on F**k It Retreats). Wow, aint that amazing?
