Providers pay NCB to rubber-stamp whatever kind of fantasy-based magical thinking they believe will sell, and NCBs imprimatur--actually enshrined in law in some states--convinces the target audience that the information has been scrutinized and determined to be valid. Under the circumstances, its not surprising that so few MTs can break out of that trap; whats surprising is how many actually do come to see through it. Until seeing through misinformation and manipulation becomes the rule, rather than the exception in MT as a whole, however, we are never going to make progress toward the goal of becoming a real healthcare profession. There are actually a few true or semi-true claims strewn through this metric boatload of BS, but you can get that wheat elsewhere, from reputable sources without having to filter nearly as much chaff as this article presents you with. donotlink/framed?607086
