Dear members, I know with the holiday season brings so much work and joy to our already busy lifes, and times may be tuff for some or all. But this year I was hoping SW could adopt a family and share some love and joy with them. Below is a story of a family I was hoping we could help. Could you imagine already struggling with your own family, then a knock on the door, and 3 more family children needing a place to go or they would go to foster care? What would you do? I know I would take them and some way I would make it work. I was hoping if each person attending the Nov. training could bring $5.00, the Board would purchase items and donate from the SW group. If you would rather purchase something from items below or something else you think they may need or want that would be great also. * Lets adopted a family this holiday season. Here is a little information about the family. Our family this year is a Mom and Dad (25 year old), Mary and Bob we will call them. Parents of 1 and half your old little girl with Mary expecting their next child. Then there is a knock at the door with 3 children; you either take them or they go to foster care. With Bob being their older brother he instantly takes them in. Now they are a family of 5. The kids came with only the clothes on their back, no shoes or toys. Bob and Mary have stepped up to the plate to make the children’s lives right. So because of this we ask that you help us help them. The kids didn’t ask for any toys just emphasized that they need clothes. Mom and Dad didn’t ask for anything either. However we want the kids to have some toys to open and mom and dad to have something as well. Nonperishable food is always welcome. All gifts must be back at the salon by December 15th Junior: Boy age 12, Size 14 pants, Large kids shirts · Christian: Boy age 8, Size 8 pants, Medium kids shirts · Emery: Girl age 3, Size 4t · Braily: 1 and a half, Size 24 months
