Dear members of the 122nd Army Band, It is bitter sweet but I - TopicsExpress

Dear members of the 122nd Army Band, It is bitter sweet but I wanted to publicly let you all know that I will be leaving the 122nd family in the very near future. I have accepted a position as the 371st Special Troops Battalion PSNCO. I have been a member of the 122nd Army Band for 14 years 9 months and 4 days. I remember back when I walked into the recruiters office and said Im here to join the Army Band he looked at me confused and asked we have a band? A couple weeks later an unusually large headed goofy 18 year old with bleached tipped hairs, was playing an audition in a garage turned band room. From that day until now the 122 has been a family that has been there for me through so many aspects of my life, through thick and thin. (See years 04-06) I have made my best friends in this unit. Surprisingly I have seen many of us grow up to actually be productive humans. I use the term grow up loosely, but you get my drift. Aside from my wife TTiffanythe 122nd has been the best thing to ever happen to me. For all the ups and downs that have taken place, members past and present, thank you for accepting me to be a leader in this organization. I had literally given you all very few reasons to trust me with such a large amount of responsibility, but you did. It has been an amazing experience, that has certainly shaped my future for the better. Thanks for accepting and supporting me through everything. I ask that you give SSG RRyan Pedersonthe same amount of understanding and support that you gave me when I came on board. I know he will rise to the very unique challenge that is being the Readiness NCO of the 122nd. Thanks for everything. Im sure Ill still hear from many of you in the future. And by that I mean, Im sure you will call to have me help you move. :)
