Dear precious fans, I dont like writing lengthy posts or flooding peoples timelines with unnecessary pleads simply because on a personal level I hate to pester anyone. I try to keep things as brief as possible unless theres really a need to. I urge you to kindly take a brief moment and read this... To avoid being repetitive about the whole Facebook Edgerank & Reach thing, suffice to say that, yet again, they have lowered reach for pages. It only takes a quick glimpse at this weeks total posts and their likes and comparing them with just last weeks to see that. Theres been a drop. More and more fans are losing contact with pages, and so with each post less and less people see them. The only way to reach those fans, or at least a constant fraction of them (without paying Facebook, that is) is if they interact with a page. By interaction, that means a LIKE, a Comment or a Share. Facebook then deems that fan in question truly likes the contents of that given page in question and so keeps the connection alive. In theory, thats what Facebook says. However, as for the DURATION of just how long that connection stays alive is a gray area and thats where everything becomes blurry. It is believed to be around 3 days. Meaning, if within 3 days that fan has made no interaction whatsoever with that page or any of the posts that page sent out for that period, they no longer would see the page unless they manually visit it. Now, again to the personal thing...I dont like calls of actions, because quite frankly I feel they rape peoples intelligence. I am one of those! I feel like if I like what I see, I should like it without being asked to. That is why most of my posts never contain words like Please share!
