Dear relatives & friends who have helped the Haiyan typhoon victims through my crowdrise fundraiser, Heres the latest update from CARE.org.s Sandra Bulling through text messaging. Dear Chai, Thank you so much for all you help. It is really appreciated-and needed. The distribution of food, water & basic necessities is on going. But people need not only our immediate support but also assistance in the long term to help them rebuild their lives. Thanks a lot for all that you are doing and extend our thanks to your donors. In HK, you can barely swing a Birkin handbag without hitting a poster/flyer/person inviting you to help at their fundraiser...Speaking of HK fundraisers (Drumroll....) Ours (HK Expats love the Phils) is HELP for the HAIYAN victims (fancy invite/evite to follow), a cocktail fundraiser on the 28th November at Bisous, 9/F LKF tower on Wyndham Street.
