Dear respected Engineers. The result of the NEA election for the 30th Executive Council has been out. You have already photographs on the facebook walls including mine. The panel led by Er. Dhruba Thapa has won 14 of the fifteen seats, one executive member has been won by Er. Bindu Adhikary from the panel led by Er. Rameshwar Rijal. My hearty CONGRATULATIONS to all of them and the BEST WISHES for the successful tenure. In my opinion, three great engineering personalities of our time had fought the election raising the gravity of NEA. The news itself stirred great amount of ripples confusing almost every body to speculate about who would win. It was a tough fight for the post of President among the five candidates. Hardly anybody could speculate in the beginning about how the results would be. All the teams did their best attempts, used their own strategies in writing, in words and in other tactics. After the results are out, I think, there should appear no discrepancies and discrimination. These should end right there. Now for the two years to come, the leaders and the leadership are for all the engineers community. The 29th Executive Council and its behavior could be well taken as an example. We never played a majority game. We smiled together wherever we went and participated. It is quite obvious that happiness and joy come with the victory and sadness comes with the defeat. It is but natural. In the last election, we had a different experience. This time, the experience is different. The life is not same always. It does not move in a straight line. Probably, the life would lose all the charms if it ever moved in a straight line. Ups and downs and again a hope for the ups are all facets of a dynamic life. The only thing we must not lose is a commitment towards certain ideals and a determination to walk along the path that is dynamic, progressive and result oriented for the masses of engineers.
