Dear rich, It’s not often that we come across congressional candidates who are deeply knowledgeable and passionate about foreign policy and crafting America’s role in the world. That’s why we’re thrilled to introduce you to three of our newest endorsements. Jim Mowrer (D-IA), Kevin Strouse (D-PA) and Lee Rogers (D-CA) have big ideas for how we can reform national security in the 21st century. Click here to help send these three rising stars to Congress. Jim Mowrer: If anyone understands the need for a new national security strategy, it’s Jim Mowrer, the young progressive challenger to Tea Party firebrand Steve King (R-IA). Mowrer served in Iraq with the Iowa National Guard. Later, he worked in the Department of Defense, working to cut wasteful Pentagon spending. Kevin Strouse: An Army veteran who served three terms in Afghanistan and one in Iraq, Kevin Strouse knows firsthand the importance of a foreign policy that relies on all of the tools available to us – not force alone. Strouse will be a formidable challenger to Tea Party Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick (R-PA), who scored a dismal 0% on our national security voting scorecard. Lee Rogers: Rogers is running to replace defense contractor darling Buck McKeon (R-CA) – and the contrast couldn’t be starker. McKeon is the largest single recipient of defense industry dollars in Congress. Rogers’ support for ending our overseas wars and reducing the Pentagon budget will be a sharp break from McKeon’s hawkish policies. Please consider a donation to three candidates who believe in a new vision for our national security. Thanks for doing your part. Sincerely, John Isaacs & Guy Stevens
