Dear students and volunteers, We hope that you will participate in the Ride-A-Thon this year. It is the first one that we have been compelled to do in more than three years. Hoofbeats has become a fairly well oiled machine since its founding in 1993, but every piece of it is important to the whole. Rider’s fees go 100% to supporting our lovely therapy herd of horse heroes and we need your help to make the ends meet financially this year. Anything you can contribute will be appreciated and one our board members has offered a small token of appreciation to whomever contributes the most. This will be announced at the Pot Luck Awards Feast on Oct. 18th. The Ride-A-Thon begins Saturday August 10 and will end at the TRAV Horse Show on the weekend of October 5th and 6th. Your supporters are invited to come watch you compete over the weekend and to join us in our “Celebration Station” stall in Barn 5 where they can meet the horses and riders and volunteers who make up the Hoofbeats family.
