Dear students, parents & colleagues My name is Marcela Holbová and I am from The Czech Republic. I am a 25 year old student in my 5th year of a Master program consisting of Geography, Geoinformatics and History at Palacky University in Olomouc. I have a deep appreciation of history. I am most interested in history of the 20th Century. My favorite periods are during the First World War and Second World War. I love Geography and Geoscience as well. I love travelling which is associated with geography. I visited many countries as the United States, Canada, Mexico, The Netherlands, Belgium,... I have really great experience from the exchange program Erasmus. I spent a semester at Utrecht University in The Netherlands. I believe that the work placement at IES Schamann will play a major role for my future personal and professional life. The experience which I am getting at your institution are invaluable. They are helping me to improve myself while expanding and applying my knowledge already gained at Palacky University and Utrecht University. I have a lot of experience with children. I love to work with children and this is one of the reasons I have decided to work as a teacher. I am so grateful that I can be a part of the IES Schamann and I can be an assistant of teachers. I teach my students in different subjects as English, Math, P.E,... but I also learn a lot from them.
