Dear vendors who do expos or displays. Here are a few tips. 1. TABLECLOTHS are critical. You should own a cloth table cloth Black is usually preferable but depending on what youre vending you may venture into some color or print. It should always be pressed. PAPER, PLASTIC is NEVER acceptable. 2. CHOOSE what you want to display. It is not necessary to have EVERY single product, program or piece of literature on display. The idea is to draw people to your table find out what they need or want and present them with that. 3. Have a way to COLLECT email addresses whether it be a drawing or a list. Most of the people you meet will not buy on the spot but they are interested in what you have to offer. 4. Be sure your help is FRIENDLY and a good representation of you. You might not want to have your aunt who doesnt iron behind the table if you are a tailor. 5. SIGNAGE is important but you dont need 20 signs. 1 good clean prominent sign will do. 6. Use LEVELS and INTERESTing casing to display your items. All items should not be flat on your table. 7. Dont know how? Get some help. A friend who has a great creative eye or call me Ill consult for a very small fee. LOL! Maybe for free because cluttered booths drive me insane! Your image is important. Clean it up and youll find that you attract more BUYERS fewer lookers.
