Dearest David Bermea, Just wanted to update you on my week! First of all about midweek I found myself going through things in your closet! I mostly moved your clothes to my closet and vice versa. My closet is bigger for storage purposes. And with the two kids living here now, I have had to find new and inventive places to put things! You were like me,we save all our bday cards and mementos! I found a card just as I was finally putting the storage containers away. It was a card I gave you in 2008. It made reference to ( and was a musical card) the REO song ♪♪ I cant fight this feeling any longer♪♪, how fitting ! Tough to look at but so happy for the beautiful, yet painful memories! This winter I will re-visit the storage closet all over again! Well lets see ...... the day finally came to see REO in concert ! I purchased those tickets back in April. So Ive had something to look forward to since then! Unfortunately, the Sooners played their first game of the season, at the same time the concert started. I bought the game on PPV but much to my dismay it did not record! I will take that up with Cox tomorrow! However, we won 48-16, thats a good start! I think Im going to like the new playoff system! I wish you were here to break down those stats for me like you always did! Anyway, back to the concert! Ruben Vasquez, John Bermea, Adelita Alvarado, Terry and my cousin Linda & friend were all in attendance ! Prior to meeting up with Linda, We had a mini tailgate, first at Dellas then in the parking lot a the venue! It was Rubens idea!
