Dearest David Bermea, been a pretty tough week, but Im making it! Funny how grief ambushes a person! You think youre doin fine then boom... it hits!! Found my self on the floor in a puddle of tears last night! I was minding my own business scrubbing a spot on the carpet then I heard the words from a song playing in the background by Anita Baker! No one in the world can hold me no one in the world can LOVE me like you do.... before I knew it I was crying like a baby! Crying is not hard ! I welcome the tears when they come, becuz when they come I feel better! Most days I come and go, without feeling, just doing! I stay busy! If I truly grieved the loss of you Id be on that floor constantly! I rearranged some drawers and found the socks your precious feet once walked proudly in! I scooped them up, holding them tightly!I could feel you with me! I sobbed some more! How, can I do this babe? How? Then I began to laugh! I know huh, crazy! Remember, Id always tell you, you have big feet! Then Id say, You know what they say about a guy with big feet? Youd say, yea! Id say, what? Youd say, they have big hands? Haha!!
