Dearest Devotees Jai Gajanan Shri. Gajanan Maharaj of Shegaon, appeared in Shegaon on 23rd February 1878 (Magh Month Krishna Saptami) and entered in ‘Maha-samadhi’ on 8th of September 1910 (Rishi Panchami day) . Every year, we celebrate Rishi-panchami with enthusiasm. We pray to our beloved Shri Maharaj and offer HIM some seva. This year also we are starting activities for Rishi Panchami Utsav. Following activities are in our plan and without your participation, these activities are not possible. 1. Experience sharing - “Ones experience with Shri Maharaj , may become direction for others in Life” 2. Description of any spiritual details: Hymns from any scared book e.g. Dasbodh, Mahabharat, Ramayan , Gyanshwari etc etc. 3. Any scared and spiritual story : Life story of any Saint, Bhagwan etc etc 4. Explanation of any strota or Shloka. 5. We are organizing Group Parayan Activity on occasion of Rishi Panchami“. This is going to be 21 days activity. We chose 21 days as our mother pothi Shree Gajanan Vijay Granth also covers HIS leela in 21 chapters. Parayan of Shri Gajanan Vijay Granth: All participants, will be assigned one chapter per day, so they can complete one full parayan in 21 days. In this way, 21 devotees together can offer One complete parayan per day and after 21 days, we will be offering 21 Parayan at HIS holy feet. This activity is starting from Saturday, August 9th, and we will complete 21 parayan on Friday, August 29th(one day before Rishi Panchami Day), since August 30th isRishi Panchami. If you are not participating in Group Parayan but still offering parayan of 1 day, 3 days or 7 days please update us. We are keeping count of our Group Parayan… 6. Kids participation in Rishi Panchami Web Utsav in any form pothi reading, naam japa, drawings, posting thoughts on Maharaj .... any Seva from kids of every age group is welcome !!! Jai Gajanan
