Dearest Ex-Mays, In fulfillment of our promise to keep you informed and engaged on our activities, and in preparation for our 60th Diamond Jubilee Anniversary coming up in the week of January 25th to 31st 2016, the Exco of MOSA are please to inform you that a 12-member committee has been set up to plan and co-ordinate the events for our anniversary week. Members of the committee are as follows: Ex-May (Chief) Olayinka Ogunmekan - Chairman Ex-May (Dr.) Wale Omole - Vice-Chairman Ex-May Akin Aloba - Secretary Ex-May (Ms) Corin Solarin (Prop. Mayflower Private) - Member Mr. Joseph Dawodu (Principal, Mayflower School) - Member Ex-May (Dr.) Tolu Aduroja - Global Ex-Mays Ex-May Adeolu Adebanjo - Global Ex-Mays Ex-May Bola Apena - Global Ex-Mays Ex-May (Engr.) Olalekan Adeniji - Member Ex-May Tunde Balogun / Tokunbo Sanni-Akinwunmi - MOSA Ex-May Tola Adebayo - MOSA Ex-May Kayode Awobajo - MOSA This committee is charged with the following responsibilities amongst others: 1. Design an all-participatory and inclusive program of event for the week after due consultations with stakeholders. 2. Determine the anniversary projects to be commissioned during the event week 3. Determine the total cost of the projects and other events for the week 4. Source for fund to actualize these projects 5. Oversee the completion of all the projects within the agreed timelines 6. Determination of all the special guest of honor and other invitees for each of the events 7. Ensure the general success of our 60th anniversary celebration The committee was inaugurated on Saturday August 9 at Mayflower School, Ikenne (pls find some pictures of the occasion below), and should be reaching out to you all in due course on its activities in the coming weeks. Please be informed that the committee may also delegate particular responsibilities to some Ex-Mays worldwide as the need arises, kindly therefore avail them your maximum co-operation in order that we may have a befitting anniversary celebration.
