Dearest Friends, I fell in love with music as an 11 year old bmx-bike riding, girl chasing (kissing only of course) rocker and I dreamed of touring the world in a real life rock band. At the time, I was being brain washed by Queen, Jimmy Hendrix, ACDC, Neil Young, Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd, The Beattles and I bought a 5 dollar electrical guitar at the famous Marin city flea market outside of San Fransisco and started taking lessons. I immediately started writing and singing songs. In a moment of overwhelming emotion and love for music, I told my mother to bury me with my guitar, (hilarious!). Flash forward a million years and after going to high school in Indonesia, then moving to Seattle to struggle for years as an obscure musician playing in bands like Sage, Banjovi, Butt Hutt, Guardian Alien, Jive Turkey, Bayleaf and being eaten up and spit out by a couple major labels, (and a few minor ones) I had a child, bought a house, started a construction business, had two more children, joined Kultur Shock in the middle of all this and by some grand stroke of fortune, I am today living my dream first imagined as a impressionable 11 year old! This has all only been possible with your moral support, your belief, your love and your willingness to put your hard earned dollars toward coming to a show, buying a t-shirt or cd and in this case supporting our campaign to raise money for our next album. Please give what you can to help us continue to bring this great music to the world. We simply cannot do this without your financial support and we refuse to give up just because there are no labels to foot the bill.
