Dearest Lord, Behold, the pains in my heart mixed with the joys - TopicsExpress

Dearest Lord, Behold, the pains in my heart mixed with the joys of my faith. You know me well enough to know that my sentiment comes from living this life. I rejoiced this morning, marveling at the reverence of believers in mass, giving You praises because You are indeed good all the time. Later today, I witnessed my relatives grieving heavily and this of course, troubled my heart because I know that the pain is one that comes from the ability to love. I couldnt help reflect on the grief that the Virgin Mother would have felt through the Passions that Christ went through. Then I had a much deeper thought, I wonder just how grievous it must be for You Lord to make all things and then watch them go through the pains of death, more than one at a time. You indeed are a God of love. I believe that Jesus is the incarnate word. He is Your Son. Yes, You are all powerful but does this mean that You dont have sentiment? You are all loving. Of course You have sentiment, and how would I feel if my children pained, hurt themselves, forgot me among all the other things we do. These thoughts made me love You more. You indeed are more vast than the grains of sand in all the oceans and deserts combined. Dare I not have faith in Your immensity? No, You are perfect. It is I learning to love like You. Behold Your creations looking at You, seeking You, each in due time for Your glory. Praise to You, Almighty Father. We seek the truth. Goodness is not a temporary thing, I know that Jesus Christ is perfection, I know You are perfection and I was saved by Christ and made by You, so my faith gives me hope that I am on my way to a kind of perfection like no other. I pray for the soul of Joel Hernandez and all of my other ancestors who have gone to the light of Your presence, how the grieving made me think of them all, I pray for those without intercession, I pray for those in most need of mercy, and I pray for that special someone who is going to say yes. Jesus Christ is the Body and Blood of salvation and in Him I will never doubt. Amen.
