Dearest Members, Welcome to the new members of the group. I hope you enjoy our wonderful on line satsang! I would like to give a gentle reminder that the theme of the group is Prayers, Mantras and Bhajans. The occasional motivational/inspirational story is fine but it would be more appropriate and (even more important) appreciated in Closeness to Real YOU. I would appreciate some translations with Hindi script as many cannot read it...although it is not compulsory...hopefully another member can translate. I feel we (some of us) miss out on some great wisdom and knowledge. If you are aware of religious events like a discourse/bhajans etc do feel free to let everyone know as well as activities in temples that might interest members. As Hindus we do get some religious ceremonies performed by priests. Most people have their own trusted priests that they always get poojas performed by...however some people are looking for reputable priests. As a service to these devotees priests can do some sort of write up of what they do and what they charge. This can be saved as a document in Files at the top of the page. If other people know of good reputable priests do give their contact details in the Files section as a document. My personal experience of priests has been mixed. We had a brilliant priest when my mum passed away, not so great when my dad passed away, a very good one who did a havan for me 4 odd years ago and an absolutely brilliant one who did the religious service when my banevi passed away. (Whenever accepting the services of any priest do fix a price so there are no surprises and hence ill feelings. You also need to know if you need to collect and drop the priest back...what the priest will bring and what you need to buy.) I dont want any astrological services to predict the future etc to be advertised here.....as many just take advantage of people whove already had a rough time and are desperate. I have nearly fallen into this trap myself! If there are any questions or clarifications required please ask the admin team. The admins of this group are Sandhya Gandecha ben, Naresh Ravji Katwa bhai and Hitesh Chandaranabhai. They have done the most fantastic job of bhakti and satsang and I am proud and honoured to have these most devoted people managing and running this group. We also have the most fantastic members and devotees who share the most melodious and soothing bhajans. Thank you everyone, Hari Bol, Har Har Mahadev, Jai Jalaram.......
