Dearest Pa.... My heart is so very heavy this morn. Trying to hold back the tears thinking of all the moments, where, even in death, you continued to teach your children about loving each other and respect. I think of that crowning moment, when Gregory, our deaf/mute brother, was raised to the highest place of honor within the family, the look of amazement, awe, and humility; the tears of joy that flowed from his eyes when he received the flag that draped your casket from the Honor Guard. You left this world the way you lived....YOUR way. I will miss you so very much, even though I know it was your appointed time, and while I am joyful in spirit for you, I am broken of heart for my loss of you. As I prepare my journey home, I will deeply miss the fellowship of my brother, and our brothers.
