Day 22, Tuesday, July 22, 2014 - The Luminous Mysteries (In Petition) Prayer before the recitation of the Mysteries of Light: In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Say one Hail Mary Prayer for the 27 days of petition: Hail, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, my Mother Mary, hail! At your feet I humbly kneel to offer you a crown of roses - bright yellow roses to remind you of the public ministry of your son - each rose recalling a holy mystery; each ten bound together with my petition for a particular grace. O Holy Queen, dispenser of God’s graces and Mother of all who invoke you! You cannot look upon my gift and fail to see its binding. As you receive my gift, so will you receive my petition; from your bounty you will give me the favor I so earnestly and trustingly seek. I despair of nothing that I ask of you. Show yourself my Mother! Say the Apostles Creed: I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ his only Son, Our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. Listen to him,” I humbly pray: Say one Our Father, ten Hail Marys, one Glory Be to the Father. Recite the Fatima Prayer O my Jesus: O my Jesus, forgive us our sins; save us from the fires of hell; lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of Thy mercy. I bind these bright yellow roses with a petition for the virtue of listening to the word of God and humbly lay this bouquet at your feet. ✽¸.•♥♥•.¸✽ ¸.•♥♥•.¸✽¸.•♥♥•.¸✽ The Fifth Mystery of Light - The Institution of the Eucharist O courageous Mother Mary, meditating on the Mystery of the Institution of the Sacrament of the Eucharist, when on the day before he died your son celebrated the Passover with his disciples and took bread and gave it to them saying, “Take and eat; this is my body,” and when dinner was finished he took a cup of wine and shared it with them saying, “Take and drink’ this is my blood, which will be given up for you; do this in memory of me,” I humbly pray: Say one Our Father, ten Hail Marys, one Glory Be to the Father. Recite the Fatima Prayer O my Jesus: O my Jesus, forgive us our sins; save us from the fires of hell; lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of Thy mercy. I bind these bright yellow roses with a petition for the virtue of helping to build the faith community and humbly lay this bouquet at your feet. ✽¸.•♥♥•.¸✽ ¸.•♥♥•.¸✽¸.•♥♥•.¸✽ Prayer after the recitation of the Mysteries of Light: Spiritual Communion My Jesus, really present in the most holy Sacrament of the Eucharist, since I cannot now receive you in the form of bread and wine, I ask with a heart full of love and longing that you come spiritually into my soul through the intercession of your most holy Mother. Abide with me forever: you in me, and I in you, in time and in eternity, in Mary. Prayer during 27 days of petition: Sweet Mother Mary, I offer you this Spiritual Communion to bind my bouquets in a wreath to place upon your brow. O my Mother! Look with favor upon my gift, and in your love obtain for me (specify request).
