Death Calls (inspired from a book) Freezing cold running down my spine, I can feel my life coming to an end, With mind clouding as I hold unto dear life, Memories kept rushing like movies scene, I tried to grasp but it fades as I touch, I feel so alone in a crowd of chaos, Crying, screaming, telling myself to keep holding on, My bodys getting numb, no longer feeling their touch, I tried to reach for the light ahead, the more I try the farther it went, I tried to follow the voices but silence dawned on me, I tried to search for something to hold on my unseen hands, but something is pulling me, Losing my strength I give in, I succumb to that enticing warmth, I am no longer feeling afraid, nor am I feeling grief, All I have is this elevating air, flying me to places never heard, At last death has called, I am no longer tormented, I am finally leaving my place, So dear love dont weep, I am now having my rest, Hope you would accept this with ease, and send me goodbye with smile and a kiss.
