Death has no heart, it has no mercy, it has no respect and it has separated us. These are the words of a dear brother, friend and comrade that I got in my inbox. Just like three weeks ago when he was in Jozi to attend SAMWUs Special meeting where he is an EC official, we were supposed to meet yesterday but he sent me an inbox to say that he was on his way back to O.R Tambo airport to catch a plane and head back home in Port Elizabeth because the hospital called to say his wifes condition was getting worse. Some time back, she was diagnosed with colon cancer, and even had it removed and now she is no more! Comrade Thobile Maso, I wish you strength during this time of your grief for a wife I know you adored, a childhood sweetheart, a friend, a fellow comrade and mother of your children. I cannot even begin to imagine what you are going through but, I send you understanding, My Leader.
