Death of Social Media: Trying to promote books to the same people - TopicsExpress

Death of Social Media: Trying to promote books to the same people everyday is getting boring. It seems that there is a shortage of people to market books to. Its like after a book runs its debut course social media no longer is a valuable source to sell books. Sure there may be the person lingering around that buys but most people know from the door if theyre buying or not. Book posts here get little to no attention. Go to any group. There are 5,000 members and you scroll down and for ten ads theres NOT ONE like or comment. You go into ten groups and there are the same ten book ads. I have tested this out. Hell, my own novelist page has had 600 views on a post garnering 2 likes and no shares. It all seem pointless, which is why I have been focusing my energy on other avenues. No one shares anything whether they like it or not. Social Media can be an effective tool if its used the way people claim it does at seminars. lmao. Apparently, the share button is the most effective tool here for people to use, as thats the only way for a person to be exposed to more people and vice versa.
