(Deb) NIKO Kranjcar has hailed QPR’s return to form, as preparations now turn to the visit of Bolton Wanderers to Loftus Road on Tuesday night. The midfielder has been in imperious form of late – as have the R’s, responding to a disappointing Christmas period with 10 points from a possible 12 in the Championship. Speaking to Hoops – the official matchday programme of QPR – Kranjcar said: “It was important to bounce back. It’s been a great response, it also shows the belief we have in ourselves. “We got a massive three points against Huddersfield in our last game where I don’t think we played as well as we can do. But it’s important in this league to win games, and we managed to do that. “We have to look at the things we don’t do well and try to improve on them. We’ll come into the game against Bolton much better prepared, trying to impose ourselves and our style of play on to the opposing team. We have to kick on now.” He added: “Confidence is high again now, but it’s the Championship and every game is different. “Every game is going to be difficult for us, we just have to look at the next fixture, whatever that is, and prepare to try and get maximum points. “We’re in a great position – a position where everything depends on us. Hopefully we sustain the position we’re in. “The Championship is a difficult competition. But I have belief in the team that we’re going to get promotion – and that is what we have to achieve.”
