Debate. Arguing. Bickering. Lying. Cronysim and nepotism. Devious wordsmithing and gamesmanship. Partisan politics. Conflicts of interest. Betrayal. Stabbing colleagues and constituents in the back. Stepping over the best interests of students and parents in favor of selling us out with an eye towards favoring $$$$ signs over the lives and needs of our children. No, not an episode of Netflixs House of Cards. Todays result in the Assembly regarding the vote down of A 8844 in favor of Catherine Nolans A8929, as is was an epic soap opera by design. While the privacy piece of 8929 is commendable, the balance of the Bill is nothing short of devious and devisive. Shame on Nolan et al. Assemblyman Ed Ra and Assemblyman Al Graf and those who stood their ground to argue for the Amendment were champions today. We are grateful for their support and continued advocacy and are lucky to have them on our side. Thank you!! nystateassembly.granicus/MediaPlayer.php?view_id=2&event_id=443
