Debate: As we are still finding our way out of the tripple dip - TopicsExpress

Debate: As we are still finding our way out of the tripple dip recession. Consumerism is at its highest cost. Statistically there are over 300 food banks in the UK which is an alarming statistic. To assume as we live in the western world it is a sad state of affairs. Healthy food products are pricey and for the average working class family food shopping expenses are on the rise. It is cheaper on the contrary to buy fast food and processed food and it makes you wonder. With food prices at an all time high cost how can we expect struggling families to spend a good £15 on foods to make dinner when some can buy fast food for £5? What are your views on this? Is fast food cheaper than whole sale food products? Obesity is on the rise and is cheap fast food a factor? # Aisha
