Debating on if I want to find my 13 year old 17.2hh OTTB gelding a home as a companion. He is very sweet, 100% child safe, dog, cat, and cow safe. Super laid back and loves to please. Bathes, will trailer, and great for the farrier and vet. The reason Im advertising him for a companion home is because he has EPM (please do your research). He is a 1/2 on the 1-10 scale. He is perfectly happy and content just walking around in the field and being a horse just cannot be ridden atm. If youre willing to but some money into him he has a high chance of making back to riding and jumping shape! When he was in finding condition he was amazing. Wtc, flying changes, jumping up to 46, and rode beautifully on trails. Goes barefoot! Hes not like most tbs who have crappy feet. I do have tack and blankets you could purchase for a lower cost if you would like. Not a hard keeper! Can go with anyone in the pasture from yearling to senior without any trouble.
