Debbie White, aka Dutch was at the Wall today. When I found out she was going, I asked her to leave a tear for me. She did. There are two names not written in that black granite, mine and her dads. Too many Deckers already on there, too many names period, by about 58 plus thousand. The best time to be there is after the sun goes down. It becomes our place then, our time to commune with brothers and sisters. We do not mind sharing with the public and we love it when family members of those inscribed on the stone join us in our commune. Some call it a place of Honor and Respect, and it is indeed all of that. For me, it is so much more. It is where Larry, Jim, Marvin, Everett and so many more proclaim the nature of the Vietnam Veteran. If you ever get a chance to visit,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,leave a tear for me.
