Dec 11 Good Morning Family; For those of us in California, we are being blessed with liquid gold. Father we thank You for putting a dent in the drought crisis. Thank You for protecting us on the highways and byways, being behind the wheel and in the passenger’s seat. My sister actually said she missed going to work today. My niece is very enthusiastic in her new line of employment, and Father we pray that You guide her through the matrix of investments. Now Father this is a blessing indeed. Loving your job. Thank You Jesus. Thank You for putting our hands in Your hand and keeping us gainfully and gleefully employed. Love everybody Maw Promises of God 34 “Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35 For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in;36 naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’ 37 Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? 38 And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? 39 When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’40 The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.’ Matthew 25:34-40 (NASB) 27 “But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who [a]mistreat you.29 Whoever hits you on the cheek, offer him the other also; and whoever takes away your [b]coat, do not withhold your [c]shirt from him either. 30 Give to everyone who asks of you, and whoever takes away what is yours, do not demand it back. 31 [d]Treat others the same way you want [e]them to treat you. Luke 6:27-31 (NASB) 16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:16 (KJV) Song of the Day TobyMac: Made to Love (Click on the link below) youtube/watch?v=4PKF1-JtAIY Biblical Words/People Eastons Bible Dictionary Luke the evangelist, was a Gentile. The date and circumstances of his conversion are unknown. According to his own statement (Luke 1:2), he was not an eye-witness and minister of the word from the beginning. It is probable that he was a physician in Troas, and was there converted by Paul, to whom he attached himself. He accompanied him to Philippi, but did not there share his imprisonment, nor did he accompany him further after his release in his missionary journey at this time (Acts 17:1). On Pauls third visit to Philippi (20:5, 6) we again meet with Luke, who probably had spent all the intervening time in that city, a period of seven or eight years. From this time Luke was Pauls constant companion during his journey to Jerusalem (20:6-21:18). He again disappears from view during Pauls imprisonment at Jerusalem and Caesarea, and only reappears when Paul sets out for Rome (27:1), whither he accompanies him (28:2, 12-16), and where he remains with him till the close of his first imprisonment (Philemon 1:24; Col. 4:14). The last notice of the beloved physician is in 2 Tim. 4:11. There are many passages in Pauls epistles, as well as in the writings of Luke, which show the extent and accuracy of his medical knowledge.
