Dec.15 Christmas Memories...yall ready for some more ?....Todays Christmas Memory..well its about 1967..a 16 yrol me...a pretty teenage girl..a jewelery box and the Righteous Brothers !! LOL....You see, its Christmas time and I have this sweetheart of a girlfriend so I gotta get her a present...16 yrs. old in Bull Island and down the road at that time your only transportation was the ones you put on your feet every morning...so, I got my Brother , Buddy, to take me to town...still had some crabbin money and Dad paid me a little for helping him with some oysters after school...here we go shopping...kinda hard at 16 and not knowing nothing except wanting to get it right for her !....Looked all around the store and found this real pretty gold colored jewelry box...I just knew she would love it ! so I bought it....looked around some more at the record albums..Perfect ! The Righteous Brothers...aint never been nobody sing no better than no Righteous Brothers !! LOL..so I bought that too...Christmas came soon and I gave her the gifts..she really liked them both and I was happy...this is a Christmas Ill never forget...Oh ! about the pretty girl...well lets just say she is still my Soul & Inspiration !!! Thanks Bill Medley & Bobby Hatfield for the beautiful words and music....Thanks to my Deb for everything....Merry Christmas
