Dec 21, 2014 OUR Very Precious **ANDY*** On Sat AM ANDY suffered a 30 second seizure...it awoke Michelle LaPlante-Romanowicz and startled her beyond words...keeping in mind that ANDY has a shunt in his head to counteract the effects of HYDROCEPHELUS...this was an event of tremendous dread! Fortunately within minutes he returned to his vibrant self and went on as though nothing had happened! Michelle consulted with his neurologist, Dr Joseph, yesterday who gave great relief by telling her that these seizures are expected with his condition and that the fact that he only had ONE, VERY short one, that there was nothing to be too concerned about. He gave her the parameters of WHAT to watch for and consider an immediate emergency going forward...HERE is Andy today playing in a very focused way with one of his NEW Christmas Gifts...Andys brain is the size of a pea and he was deemed to be killed when born...He is one amazing kitty and is HERE for a reason...let there be no doubt!! His level of activity IS being closely monitored BUT he is a kitty who LOVES to PLAY...perhaps more than most! He may be a forever KITTEN and that is just fine!
