Dec 30, 2014 From Mary Jenkins, Today I reminisced of where COC has come from. An unexpected journey that became a blessing for so many who like me needed financial assistance while battling cancer. As we prepare to go into 2015 I ask everyone to please consider being part of our $5 ALIVE Campaign committing to making a $5 monthly donation. It is more important than ever that COC has regular monthly donors. We have given St. Judes Childrens Cancer Research Hospital permission to refer the families they provide no cost treatment (approx 475 families) to us for financial help since they DO NOT use their millions to help families pay bills. The coming year is expected to be one where not just Columbus, Ohio the United States but the world understands who we are, what we do and who we stand in the gap to serve. I am honored to have led the organization to this point but know that without the support and help from people like David Kurtz, Edwin Jones, Tracy Sue Metzger, Christina Rains, Patrick Newton, Josepha Thompson, Lea Lea Young, Christopher Burke, Gail Fabish and Frank Fabish, Toni Harris, Barbara Ann Hyde Thompson, Dalyn Dunn, Carla and Ralph Dowling-Fitzpatrick, Amanda Dalton Graham, John Gregory, Tony Sobony, Curtis Xotics Smith, James Bronner and the Bronner Bros Company, Jaye Da Barber, Jonas Flycuts, Tori Mystori Hebb, Darryl Austin, Steve TheBarber Darius, Andrea Myers (deceased) so many others through the years Christians Overcoming Cancer and now Cancer Option Collaborative would not be who we have grown to be... I am forever thankful for your friendship, love and continued support. As we embark on the next phase of the journey I ask for your prayers, your willingness to volunteer and your commitment to donate. Together we can help more people battling cancer who hope #COC can be the answer to their desperate need.
