Decades of conflict have left Afghanistan one of the most dangerous places in the world for children and their mothers to live. One in seven Afghan children will not live to see their fifth birthday. Enrolment in primary education has vastly improved over the past 10 years, but still only 7 girls for every 10 boys are enrolled in primary education. Neighbouring countries like Turkmenistan and Tajikistan live in relative peace and obscurity, but despite having tens of billions of dollars poured into the country Afghanistan remains one of the poorest and most insecure nations in the world. HUUUUH!!!
