December 03 Daily Devotional Romans 8:31 THE GREATEST GIFT IS GODS LOVE As Christmas approaches, people become more “gift” conscious. They think about what they want, and what others want as gifts. Yet when it comes to the giving of gifts, very few are aware of the greatest gift ever given to man - God’s love! Many people say that Jesus was the greatest gift given to man – and that’s true, but look carefully at what John 3:16 says. For God so “loved” the world He gave His only begotten son…. If it weren’t for God’s love for you, Jesus would never have come. Romans 8:31 says nothing can cause God to stop loving you! Nothing! Think about that! Even at your lowest point in life, He still loves you! Nothing you can say or do convinces God to stop loving you! Would to God men would understand this! Do you? When Psalms 103:2 tells you to remember His benefits daily, start by remembering His love for you. For the next 9 days, we’ll look at 9 ways this love is manifested in your life everyday. Here is the list of love benefits you enjoy everyday from God: 1) His PROMISES. 2) His PROTECTION. 3) His PROVISION. 4) His PEOPLE. 5) His POWER. 6) His PEACE. 7) His PRAYERS. 8) His PATIENCE. 9) His PRESENCE. When God loves you, these are things you get from Him everyday. Take the time to pause and reflect upon each of them, and once again, lift up your hands in thanksgiving and gratitude for all He’s done for you!
