December 12 - Today is the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe: the Queen of Mexico and Empress of the Americas and of the Philippines. She is also the Patroness and Protectress of the Unborn. We commemorate on this day the 483rd Anniversary of the Final Apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary to Saint Juan Diego on Mount Tepeyac near Mexico City on December 12, 1531. She left him Her miraculous image imprinted on his tilma as a sign given to Bishop Juan de Zumarraga. Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for us!
