December 12th, 1970 ... Detroits own Rare Earth made their third appearance on the Billboard Hot 100 with, Born To Wander. The follow-up to their two Top 10 releases, Get Ready & (I Know) Im Losing You, debuted today at #86. By the songs eighth week, January 30th, 1971, it peaked at #17, where it remained for two weeks ... lasting on the Hot 100 for eleven weeks. Locally, Born To Wander reached #22 at WKNR & #20 at CKLW.
