December 15th and 16th we will be doing our annual Shop with a Cop at our local Walmart here in Muscatine. It should be a great time! I have been a part of this ever since I came to Muscatine and look forward to it every year! If you happen to be in the area feel free to stop by and say hello. I have had several officers sign up so there should be a good representation of our local PD there helping the kids out. We are able to do this because of our community donating monies to the Muscatine Police Officer Association, our goal is to take 100 kids every year and give them $100 to spend on stuff for themselves and or family. You would be amazed how many of them look to get stuff for their families rather than themselves. If you feel compelled to help out and keep this going we have a drop box in the lobby of the Public Safety Building or you can let me know and I will get with you to pick up your donation.
