December 16th, 2014 - a date that will live in infamy - The Army Public School, Peshawar, was suddenly and deliberately attacked by the coward barbarians of the TTP. 141 Innocent patriots (132 Children) embraced martyrdom and refreshed the tree of liberty with their blood. Pakistan Army valiantly rescued 960 people and killed all seven attackers. The operation left seven SSG personnel and two officers injured. Never in the history of Pakistans War on Terror was so much owed by so many to so few. So last night, when I saw an old Mexican proverb which brought me some solace, I knew it was the inspiration I wanted to share. They thought theyd bury us, but didnt realize we were seeds. It so brilliantly sums up the essence of the Pakistani people. Time and again, weve been battered and beaten down, yet we rise up from the ashes- no more dramatic than from Fall of Dhaka to Operation Zarb -e- Azab. Thus, such heinous acts wont daunt our resolve of eradicating extremism. Well not yield! Pakistan Army Zindabad! Pakistan Paindabad!
