December 1st 2014 Daily Encounter You Need Direction “Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.” - Isaiah 48:17 Today’s Scripture Reading: Isaiah 48:15-21 When it comes to making decisions, life is filled with many options. However, even though there appears to be so many options for you to choose from, it takes God’s leading to experience maximum profit that comes with peace of mind and rest. Our scripture reading makes it clear that God knows the end from the beginning. Which is why you have to let Him (God) teach you how to go about your endeavours in life. When God teaches you by His word, you can then be led by Him and when you are led by Him, you will enjoy profits in life. You have to be a student of His word because His guidance only comes through His word. The word is your compass to destiny. You can’t make mistakes when the Holy Spirit teaches you. When the still small voice speaks to you, you will not have to doubt about what God has promised to do for you or what He can show you to do. With that in mind, how do you consistently enjoy His leading? By constantly staying addicted to His word. In doing so, God will teach, guide and show you the way to profit. And every profit God gives you pushes you to your next level of achievement. God has never left His children alone, He cares and loves you and is longing to see you make profit in everything you set out to do. No fear should ever come near you when you hearken to His voice. Prayer: Pray for grace to seek God’s face daily and to wait in His presence for guidance Prophetic Blessing: I decree a fresh longing for His presence in your life
