December 2, 2014 is the 10-year anniversary of my Daddys death, or the birthday of his eternal life. I miss him as much today as I did in 2004. He was 88 - I was 44. Next April my mother will turn 88, and so thankfully she is still rockin and rollin!!! I am so thankful my son has had as much time with each of them as he has had, and I try each day to find new ways to show my mother appreciation and love. We re-read the cards sent to us ten years ago at the time of my fathers death, and decided to finally dispose of them. So many folks shared their love - it was amazing and appreciated to this day!!!
