December 24/25, 2014 Moment of Grace Christmas But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born[a] of a woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. 6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” Galatians 4:3-6 NKJV The wait is over… the Baby is born! Angels broke into a song of worship witnessed by Shepherds keeping watch over their flocks that night. Those same shepherds rushed to the village/city of Bethlehem to find the Babe, wrapped in swaddling clothes laid in a manger! Jesus Christ – Son of God was born of a human mother! Creator of all there is now laid as a baby…. St. Francis Assisi received a revelation of this moment in 1212 AD and felt led to share the vision with the town He served as a priest. It was called a “Living Crèche!” How many times have we seen children portray this simple story? The idea was God’s! The Lord brings us all to the “Stable” to view His love wrapped as a gift to all of us! Have you received God’s Christmas Gift of Eternal Life? What are you waiting for?
