December 26th. I had the family watching their eccentric member jump in the sea today, lol. I actually have a great family. They are unique and different in a many ways. Having them take the time today to be there was very supportive.. They have followed my strange odyssey all along. My life and this beach thing, lol. None of them jumped in the water though, lol. I have always said that I really never know when I will stop. Kind of hard to fully grasp why I started. But on this great, mild December day it was nice to have them see me jump into the water. Maybe I have been given the power to keep this whole winter mild for everyone!! Just kidding, lol. But its funny, other than a handful of very harsh days the winter for the most part has been unusually calm and warm. At least I think so. The water was at low tide when I got in. Still hanging at 44 degrees. The sun was bright. More people about the beach than usual. I guess the holiday brought extra visitors. My family must wonder what I have been talking about when I describe all the off season days as gray, wind swept, desolate and lonely. Im sure more days like that are ahead..
