December My Frienemy (episode 11) Written By: #Prince Wako Pitori (Prince Mazibuko) Oh no!!It wasnt who she thought it was.It wasnt her father.It was just a stranger passing by.The old man and the stranger walked towards the car then they helped Thandeka out of the car and carried her to the strangers car.The old man locked his car then he went back to join Thandeka and the stranger in the other car.The car started then they quickly sped off.Inside the car,the old man held Thandeka tight and brushed her hair while he tried by all means to convince Thandeka that she would be okay.He brushed Thandekas hair and hummed his old songs until Thandeka slowly fell asleep again.How did this happen??,asked the stranger as he looked at the old man through the rear mirror.Eish.Its a long story,the old man sighed.Well,we have some time before we get to the hospital,the stranger said.The old man took a deep breath and bended his head to check if Thandeka was really asleep then he began to explain everything to the stranger.It was very obvious that the stranger was touched and moved by Thandekas story when he shook his head and a sighed as if someone had died.This is not life.How can someone even think of doing something so cruel to another persons daughter,he said.They sat quietly in the car as the stranger stepped on the paddle until the car almost reached its maximum speed.When they got to the hospital,the stranger decided to carry Thandeka all by himself since he noticed that the old man had a bad back.The old man walked next to the stranger as he walked into the hospital with the young and weak Thandeka in his arms.One of the male docters quickly took Thandeka and layed her onto on of the beds then they quickly pushed her to the emergency room.When they got to the emergency room,The old man and the stranger were asked to wait outside.They slowly walked backwards as they watched the doors slowly close right before them with Thandeka lying on the bed like a dying person.The docters checked all her vital signs and discovered that everything in Thandekas body was reacting in an abnormal way.The docters gave Thandeka oxygen and put her on some drips then they took her blood samples to the hospital lab for tests.The stranger and the old man were asked to leave because Thandeka needed all the rest that she could get.They were asked to come back the following morning to see the results.The old man and the stranger walked back to the car and drove away a few minutes after they were informed.Sir,youre a very good man.Do you know that?Asked the stranger who was moved and touched.Huhm.Oh well,helping and changing peoples lifes has always been my passion you know...After all,the hand the gives the most is the hand that recieves even more,the old man replied with a smile.Im really inspired by your character sir.Please let me help you in every way that I can.Ill arrange some people to fetch your car and get it fixed,said the stranger.Thank you young man.I would love that.Youre far too kind.Your parents must be proud,the old man replied.The stranger made an imidiate phone call and asked some people to fetch the old mans car then they drove to the old mans house.When they got there,the old mans wife made some tea then after some time the stranger said his good byes and got ready to leave.The old man walked him to his car then they planned to go check on Thandeka together the following day.The next morning,the old man called in at work and told them that he wasnt going to make it to work that day.The real reason for that was because he was too tired from all the ups and downs.At around 11:30 the old man heard a hooter coming from his gate then when he checked out the window he saw the strangers car.He got his jacket then he quickly walked out to the car.Hi sir.I just realised that I didnt tell you my name yesterday,the stranger said as they both laughed.My name is Lasie.Im a lawyer,he continued.Okay my son.You can call me Uncle Piet.As they drove on,Lasie began to speak again.You know uncle Piet,I want this young girl to get her justice.I think we should press charges on the woman who did this to her and make her pay.Since Im a lawyer,i can represent Thandeka in court.I dont know what you think but this girl has been through enough already.She deserves to get her justice.The blood test results will be enough to put that evil woman away for a very long time.Lets try.Uncle Piet sat there and stared into mid air as he slowly nodded his head and whispered Yes.Youre right.We must do this for her.They then sat quietly and went through their own thoughts until they got to the hospital.When they got to the hospital,they went straight to the reception to find out which room Thandeka was in.After getting the room number they passed by the hospital cafeteria to get Thandeka some snacks they they walked to her room.To their,suprise,When they got to Thandekas room,she already had a visitor.By the look of things,it was probably her mom.Thandeka was awake and her mom was sitting next to her with one of her hands under Thandekas blanket.To Lasie and uncle Piet,it looked like Thandeka and her mom were holding hands under the blanket while the truth was that,they werent holding hands.Thandekas mom had a gun aimed at Thandeka under the blanket where no one else could see it.She leaned over an pretended as if she wanted to give Thandeka a kiss on the chick then she whispered If you say a single word,I pull the trigger........Youre probably asking yourself why Thandekas mom was aiming her gun at her own daughter right???Its simple.Thats because this wasnt Thandekas mom....Eish!It was Zethu.... ...........To be continued.............
