Decide it the American way! Take a vote, it will stay; as it should. This Politically correct stuff is all wrong and out of control. My life is full of things that I dont care for, dont approve of and would like to have my way. I go on doing the best I can with what I have and enjoy the sights of what I enjoy. That cross has history with that dreadful incident for many and is simply symbolic to Christians of the suffering Christ endured for us. Although I try, I cant see why that cross being there would bother an atheist. Since their premise is that there is no God he could, when he recognizes that symbol both in the 911 museum and throughout America, simply accept it and think to himself, those poor fools think that symbol means something. And go about his business. We dont do anything to stop him from practicing his belief, every minute of every day, the absence of God in his life. Live and let live.
