Decided to get OFF the computer for a while again today. Ive just been reading some of my thousands of notes from previous events and workshops that Ive attended or presented at, and it occurs to me that there are many would-be experts or well-intentioned coaches and healers, who genuinely want to help, but seriously do not have the experience or previous success to justify their price or their advice. If you are going to pay someone to guide you, check their credentials, references and proof of success first! I just came across the business card of a guy that I paid over £15,000 to do PR for me (8 years ago) and i notice now, that not only did he not have a website, he didnt even have a decent email address (I hate hotmail, aol and yahoo email addresses! They are sooo unprofessional). ... more fool me! Obviously I had the money at the time, but even today I feel that guy totally ripped me off, and was a massive waste of my money. Another lesson learned! Do your due diligence! If someone says they can get you onto the first page of Google, its pretty easy to check that they know what theyre talking about. And if they say they can teach you how to make money online, dont just take their word, or pay for regurgitated theories. Are they walking the talk or are they working for someone else meanwhile? Most of the public speakers I know on this topic, actually make more money from the sales of their theoretical packages, than actually working the software and making it happen. Most of their healers and life coaches I know, are actually totally skint, and are a long way from the time freedom and peace of mind that they promote. Whew, Im glad I got all that off my chest, now I can get on with my own plans again. .. :-)
