Decided to have a couple of hours in Beamish Open- Air Museum - TopicsExpress

Decided to have a couple of hours in Beamish Open- Air Museum today. As we bimbled around, there were posters up everywhere asking the owners of a Renault Scenic to get in touch..... even the conductors on the charabancs were shouting it out. When we were leaving, my wife asked a member of staff what was going on. She explained that the car was locked in the car park with a distressed hamster inside and they were "monitoring the situation" Who the hell takes a hamster to a theme park for a day out, then leaves it locked in the car? Had it misbehaved on the way, and been punished by missing the treat with the rest of the hamsters? Or was it something more sinister? Had a family of illegal Peruvian immigrants gone on a day out, then use the Renault as an impromptu slow cooker for their tea?
