Decided to put my BURNING UP THE STAGE acting lessons to the test, while I am out in LA waiting for a few Southeast/Midwest film projects to firm up. I wanted to be sure that what I am teaching actually works outside of my own casting/directing preferences. So I submitted to a few small projects (1 or 2 day jobs, so as not to take too much time from the feature I am editing). Got 8 auditions, resulting in 5 booked roles and 1 callback. Not saying Im all that fantastic - just confirming that the workshops actually offer skills that help get jobs. Basically, a little quality control to keep the teaching current. Ill be scheduling Burning Up the Stage acting workshops next March/ April in Louisville, KY as well as in Cincinnati, OH, Lexington, KY & Evansville, IN if there is sufficient interest. In the meantime, having fun showing Hollywood what I can do!
