Decided to share my story of my good deed I did today so here it goes. Im at work it is the first of the month and raining its butt off! After getting buggies in the rain and having 600-400 dollar orders most of my shift along with everything else going bad this week I was on wits end. Then this elderly gentlemen came through my line I could tell he was well elderly with a hearing aid all by himself buying some cat food.. Well he goes to pay and his total is about 17$, his card turns out to be expired just expired yesterday (7/14) he then says he doesnt have the money that he had no clue what to do so as he is walking away I stop him and say sir I got you covered no worries and I could tell he was confused. Deep down I know I dont have much money to my name right now but I proceeded to pay for his stuff anyways. Even though he didnt show much emotion I guess maybe he was still kind of puzzled I knew that it had meant something to him. Well then my next customer and I were talking and after I finished ringing him up I went to hand him his change of 5$ and he told me to hold on to it that he had seen what I did. Anyways my moral of sharing this is that you should always pay it forward. I was taught to treat others the way I would want to be treated. Happy Friday everyone! :)
