Decided to take a moment to test a player-made sound mod for the Fw-190D9 in DCS, along with the new player-made historically correct paint job (dont recall the squadron for this paint scheme). Diveplane is the player who created the sound mod, not only for the internal and external engine noise but also the sounds of the two 20mm cannons and two 13mm machine guns. He did a good job, much better than Eagle Dynamics stock sounds. Same with the skinmaker, now I need to figure out how to slap my nose art I created onto the plane. Also did a couple rolls and pulls on the stick to test any changes to the flight model during last update. Some people are claiming changes to the flight model in the recent update even though the ED flight model designer stated none were made. I really dont notice anything different in the handling, so guess for those people it is the placebo effect as the FM designer put it.
